Braden Fast is offering a circuit training program for anyone interested in starting or continuing their journey towards a healthy lifestyle. This program is aimed at people who are mobile and in reasonably healthy condition, but open to all genders and ages. You will work at your own level of comfort! This is a weight bearing activity incorporating free weights, stretch bands, mat work, core training, movement patterns and utilizing your own body weight. This program can be very challenging or easy, depending upon your own level of commitment as it applies to intensity. It involves moving around the gym in 12 stations, each one designed to work a specific area of the body. Participants will rotate between stations, either twice or three times, depending upon the progression level. This workout will take a full hour!
Braden has run through this program with the “Walk & Talk” group that meet in the mornings during the week and was met with a high degree of enthusiasm, as well as a moderate degree of pain! He will look at incorporating this program along with the “Walk & Talk” during the weekdays along with this Saturday session, ONLY IF DEMAND WARRANTS IT!
Circuit training starts Saturday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. sharp! Braden will collect a toonie per person to offset the hall rental cost. Please bring a wiping towel, water, indoor runners and light workout attire. Classes will take place upstairs in the big hall area. You are encouraged to bring along your own exercise yoga-style mat as well, but not mandatory.
